At MozgásKlinika Retek utca, in Budapest’s 2nd district, the first meeting always starts with a musculoskeletal assessment. This is true even if you have been examined or treated elsewhere, or arrive with a medical diagnosis. The first consultation lasts 60 minutes and costs HUF 24,990.
1. We assess your condition
The physiotherapist starts by talking through your complaints and earlier injuries, and looks at the findings you bring with you. A physical examination and a posture analysis follow. The aim is to find out what may be behind your complaints and how much load your body can take at the moment.
If you have earlier findings, such as an MRI, X-ray or CT report or a discharge summary, bring them along.
2. We plan your treatment
Your therapy plan is based on the results of the examination. The physiotherapist tells you which of physiotherapy, manual therapy and physical therapy is recommended, how the therapy is built up and roughly how long rehabilitation may take.
You can ask questions before, during and after the assessment. Nobody can promise the exact number of sessions in advance: it depends on how you respond and on the professional assessment.
3. We start the therapy
If you agree with the plan, manual therapy or exercise-based treatment starts in the same session. You do not have to wait for a separate appointment to get going.
How do you book?
For a first visit, choose “Első konzultáció” (first consultation) on the clinic’s Salonic booking page. You can also choose a physiotherapist: both are introduced on the team page. A booking is valid once the clinic has confirmed it. The cancellation rules are on the prices page.
The booking pages are in Hungarian, and the clinic has not yet confirmed which languages treatment is available in. If you do not speak Hungarian, please ask by phone or email before you book; the details are on the contact page.
What comes next?
Later sessions follow your plan and the levels of the MozgásPiramis®: from treating pain and the current complaint, through range of motion, strength and stability, to returning to everyday or sporting load. The first assessment page has a short summary.
